Bunny Bait Snack Mix

A quick, no-bake Easter snack mix of pretzels, cereal, and pastel M&Ms coated in white chocolate. Keeps three kids happy and takes zero oven space on Easter morning.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups pretzel pieces or broken pretzel rods
  • 2 cups breakfast cereal Chex, Rice Cereal, Cheerios, or similar
  • 1 cup pastel or regular M&Ms or other pastel candy
  • 8 ounces white chocolate, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt optional, to balance sweetness

Instructions

  1. Prepare workspace: Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix dry ingredients: In a large bowl, combine pretzels, cereal, and M&Ms. Toss gently.
  3. Melt white chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine white chocolate and butter. Microwave in 30-second bursts, stirring between each, until smooth. Stir in vanilla.
  4. Combine: Pour melted white chocolate over the pretzel mixture. Fold until everything is coated. Work quickly - white chocolate sets fast.
  5. Set: Spread the coated mixture onto the prepared baking sheet. Let it set at room temperature or refrigerate 10-15 minutes.
  6. Break and store: Once set, break into pieces. Store in an airtight container or bags.
